The PWDKO housing is a one-piece grey cast-iron universal casting with motor-flange faces machined on multiple planes, supporting input from six orientations. The worm shaft is case-hardened 20CrMnTi alloy steel; the worm wheel is centrifugally cast ZCuSn10Pb1 tin-bronze. Tapered roller bearings and double-lipped NBR seals are standard on all penetrations.
